Dear Valued Guests and Friends –
I know our announcement last week came as a surprise and disappointment to many of you who have a long-standing connection with Cochrane Air and our Outpost Camp operations. I wanted to provide this update to confirm that we intend on reopening the Outpost Camps post-2026. My priority is to ensure the health and safety of our guests and that they have an excellent experience with our Outpost Camp operations. Over the last several weeks, I have heard directly from some guests who have not had an experience with us that we could all be proud of. To this end, we will be making necessary improvements to our Outpost Camps to improve your experience before reopening.
I have been asked if this impacts bookings for Kesagami Wilderness Lodge next year. The quick answer is that Cochrane Air Services will continue transportation support to Kesagami as planned. We look forward to welcoming our booked guests and those planning on staying with us at Kesagami in Season 2026.
You have my personal commitment that I want you to have the best possible experience with our Outpost Camps. And we look forward to welcoming back our guests and friends as soon as possible. Meegwetch (Thank you!).
