Vernon’s beloved blue herons are back again! The abundance of wildlife in our valley is part of what makes this area so special.

The Herons are back!
If you've visited our Vernon distillery, Tony, our Okanagan Spirits' Patriarch, has likely pointed out the big blue birds that nest in cottonwoods across from our distillery doors.
The Great Blue Herons have been visiting this spot since the mid 1980's and some have a wingspan of over 6 feet.
Come check them out, but from the warmth of our distillery, so not too disturb these majestic birds.
