A partnership between Experience Qalipu and the NL Summer Games, this special design represents the cultures and communities across the province and our connections to the land, sea, and the people who call this place home.

Pin trading is a cherished NL Summer Games tradition, and we can’t wait to see athletes, coaches and visitors wearing this piece throughout Elmastukwek.

Build a strong foundation across all five sector industries

Tourism & Hospitality Management
Smart+ Accredited (Tourism HR Canada)
Two-year diploma offered in-class at Prince Philip Drive campus in St. John’s
Develop leadership, supervisory, and operational expertise

Students who complete the Tourism and Hospitality Services certificate starting September 2026 can transition into the final year of the Tourism and Hospitality Management diploma program in September 2027 (pending seat availability).

🚢🛍️2026 CRUISE SEASON VENDOR OPPORTUNITY!

Experience Qalipu is happy to announce we have secured the rental of a vendor shed at the Port of Corner Brook for the 2026 cruise season! We are seeking Indigenous vendors/crafters/artists (priority given to Qalipu First Nation members) to do pop-up shops at the Experience Qalipu port shed on cruise ship dates. This is a great opportunity to be able to connect with cruise ship passengers right as they get off the ship!

👉IMPORTANT GUIDELINES:

We will be registering vendors on a first-come first-serve basis to ensure we have all our cruise dates filled up with pop-up shops, so we encourage those interested to get in touch ASAP. Vendors will be responsible for taking their own payments and will be responsible for their own set-up/take-down of their merchandise. As per the port shed rental rules, vendors must also be able to commit to the full docking time of the cruise ship on the specific dates they register for.

If you’re a vendor and you’re interested in registering for a docking date, please email [email protected] with which date(s) you’d like to register for and a description of the craft/merchandise you’d like to sell.
