I love that everyone helps to prep and work the show with me, they are all pros! But it’s these in between moments, a whole week at an amazing cottage, that is the gift. I look forward to this week, all year!! We have our thanksgiving feast, with all decor and presentation by the children, and we make the vegan gravy and the “meat gravy”, we walk that beach and bust out the silly string with headlamps at night. I love, every single moment of this.

PEI Fibre Festival = family fun, and the best booth buddies ever! The moms and daughters of our shared booth, Emma Doucette you ladies are the best! the W&W crew, the sheep shoes, lol. Our master designer at work stuffing goodness into baskets, and Teagan made vendor cupcakes and shared them all around! The tables of our booth were designated; the snack station, the gaming station and the chillax station (which saw pattern reading classes and napping). We had a lot of fun, and it is the fibre community that makes it special, the friends and customers of this community. Can’t wait till next year!

PEI shenanigans have begun! All hands on deck in this family!! A little work, a little feast, some beach and silly string! Now.. it’s setup day! YAY!! PEI fibre festival starting now!! Can’t wait to see you all in the marketplace tomorrow!

GAGETOWN… this Saturday 11-4 and it’s going to be a wonderful day! Sorry to be late to the posting party but we have been dyeing around the clock to get ready!! Lots of new colorways, some favorite ones and in the spirit of.. we need more… lots of one of a kind beauties too! Can’t wait to see you, can’t wait for you to find magical yarns for every fibre project! We even threw in a few black and a few Christmas red, as requested. See you Saturday, at the back of the barn in our favorite spot!!

The sun sets on yet another successful event, thanks to Sisterhood Fibres although, we did miss our friend Sisterhood Fibres . Some of the best moments are when you come to share the stunningly beautiful and skilled pieces of art for which wool and wanderlust yarn was chosen. Each piece represents a lot of hours, a lot of skill and effort, and nothing brings us greater pleasure. And as always, old friends and new friends, are the highlights of all of the fibre events. Thank you Sisterhood Fibres and thanks to each and every one of you that came to share and shop. Once again, a warm and wonderful weekend, within this community. Sisterhood Fibres
