This one is for my families of 5.

If you've searched for an all-inclusive vacation lately, you've probably noticed that finding a comfortable room for 5 people isn't always easy. Often, it means squeezing into one room or booking two separate rooms.

That's why this option caught my attention.

Let's talk November 2026 travel.

I'm not sure I've seen this much value for November vacations in years.

If we've chatted before, you've probably heard me say that it's becoming increasingly rare to find a quality all-inclusive vacation from Atlantic Canada for under $2,000 per person. Yet that's exactly what I'm seeing right now for November 2026.

The sweet spot? The week of Remembrance Day.

Not only are the prices surprisingly good, but for many travellers it can mean using fewer vacation days while still enjoying a full week away before the holiday season arrives.

One option that really caught my eye:

📍 Grand Riviera Princess, Riviera

✔$1,899 per person based on double occupancy

Looking for something a little more elevated? The Platinum Suite Plunge Pool and Villa Laguna Suite are both available from $2,699 per person for the same dates, and they are absolutely beautiful.

What I like about this resort is the balance. There are plenty of restaurants, pools, activities and entertainment, but it's also large enough that you can find a quiet corner when you're looking to relax. And yes, there's a charming coffee shop on site, which is always a bonus in my books.

One thing to keep in mind: if a perfect beach is your top priority, this stretch of Riviera Maya can occasionally experience sargassum depending on the time of year and Mother Nature's plans.

If you're thinking about a late fall getaway, now is the time to start looking. Prices like these don't tend to stick around once people begin planning their winter escapes.

NB families! If March Break 2027 is on your mind, this is worth a quick read:

If you’ve ever tried to plan that week, you know how it goes…Flights fill up fast, prices climb, and suddenly the options feel limited.

That’s already starting to happen for 2027. A lot of flights are gone, and what’s left is coming in much higher than usual.

But there is a bit of good news:
We have some group space held at Sandos Caracol Nature Resort & Waterpark:
✔️Feb 27 – March 6, 2027
✔️Direct from Halifax (Saturday departure 👍)
✔️Eco Family Superior Room (yes, the bunk bed setup)

It’s not your typical all-inclusive, think:
jungle-like paths and greenery everywhere, wildlife around the resort, a full waterpark for the kids, cenotes right on-site.

Pricing (taxes included):
• Adult (double): $2085
• Adult (triple): $2025
• Adult (quad): $1995
• Child (2–12): $1605

This was locked in early, so it’s significantly lower than what’s currently out there, especially for a family booking.
