Wednesday September 16th 2pm

The weather and whales where both amazing this afternoon. We first found humpbacks Iron and Wish swimming together and followed beside them for a bit, then we got a few looks at the wonderful Sockeye. We saw a few more blows in the distance and found Kalimba who was of course hanging out with Littlespot and Teatime. While Teatime did separate from the other two after a bit, Kalimba and Littlespot continued on together and gave us some close views while swimming under the boat!!!

Tuesday September 15th 2pm

The first humpback we came across today was Sockeye. He was lazily swimming along but still gave a few close approaches. We eventually left him for his afternoon nap and went to find some other whales we could see in the distance. As we where waiting for one to come back up we suddenly had 4 humpbacks swimming together. Somehow without us knowing Sockeye had come back and met up with Sunburst, Gremlin and Flame. We followed along beside them for the rest of the trip as they were being awesome, even going as far as swimming under the boat a few times as well as misting the passengers with their spray!!!

Monday September 14th 2pm

Sockeye is amazing. He gave us quite the show today with so many tail lobs. A few tail slaps and some pec slaps as well. When we first found him and Quarternote they were sleeping so I guess he woke up with energy! There were lots of other humpbacks around feeding including southpaw, footfall, patchwork and many others that we never got an id on. We may be heading into mid September but the whales are still active and the weather is beautiful!!!!

Sunday September 13th 2pm

We had an amazing humpback whale with us today. Quarternote was slowly going along giving passengers many good looks. Quarternote even made a few close passes to the boat taking a good look at the people onboard and showering the passengers with spray!

Saturday September 12th 2pm

Another beautiful afternoon on the bay with whales all around. We first found humpback Snooker who we have been seeing lots of the last few days. Snooker was feeding on the large amounts of fish around us and so was diving a lot giving us lots of looks at some tails. We then moved on to humpback pair Flame and Wish that where swimming along together. We watched them for a bit before we heard that sockeye was seen and so went over to get a few looks at him and introduce him to our passengers!!!!

The chop had calmed a bit down in the afternoon but the wales had not! We found humpbacks Wish, Iron, Photon and calf, Footfall and Snooker!! Snooker gave the passengers a few waves as we looked on!

Beautiful sun and a bit of a chop and the whales where right at the head of the passage. Whales Snooker and footfall were feeding heavily in the current and streetlight decided to wave hi to the passengers. We even found Sockeye enjoying his morning fish and could see many other whales in the distance. A true breakfast buffet out here this morning!!!!

Beautiful calm afternoon on the water. We saw so much life out here today. Whales Cirrus, Squiggle and Sunburst gave us some excellent looks and tails and even a few waves hello. As we were watching the whales, we found ourselves a group of grey seals lying around on the rocks. We then spotted a large group of Atlantic white sided dolphins and went out to hang with them for a bit!!!!!

Tuesday September 8th 2pm

The afternoon started with a mom and calf pair. The mother was sleeping but the calf did a few lazy spyhops to while we watched on. We soon left them to continue their nap and find some humpbacks that where more awake. We found Sabertooth and Ibex as well as a second pair consisting of Southpaw and Shotput. What an absolutely beautiful afternoon on the water!!!!

Monday August 17th 2pm

We had a few rain showers this afternoon but the whales don’t mind that one bit so off we went to locate them. We found humpback whales Puppet, Frost, Rope and Jurassic logging just a few miles away. The passengers were getting some good looks at the sleepy whales when all of a sudden Puppet decided to do a tail lob and then a pec slap. A few seconds later frost followed with a tail lob as well. Then Puppet continued with some more tail lobs, some tail slaps and a few more pec slaps. What a great afternoon show!!!
