We are progressing along nicely here in Port Renfrew. The fishing has been very consistent with some very healthy chinooks gorging on small needlefish. Gibbs Fishing Spring Roll Flashers towing around gold nugget skinny G’s are fooling these feisty fish.

The first trip to the hali grounds was a great success. Donated a halibut charter for the Duncan Salmon Steelhead group derby and the lucky winners had a perfect day with some great average size halibut. Topped off with a limit of crab the boys were super happy. gear as always!!

Put the blades to work today and found some real solid fish. Acres and acres of immature herring were being chased by aggressive chinooks today and the 3.0 gforce and skinny G spoons were a perfect match to the bait size.
