We would like to introduce Richard Harmer and his wife Peggy Rothwell. These two are the parents of Carly Harmer. Carly works at Jake's on the lake. Carlys parents live at 10109 South Shore Road in Honeymoon Bay. There are a number of disturbing videos with these racist, homophobic, possibly with mental health issues. They usually frequent Lily Beach and Gordon Bay provincial park. Richard and his wife have been charged with numerous offenses. Most recently Richard Harmer was charged with threatening to shoot a 1st nations female mother of two children. Richard previously assaulted a number of community members with a rock, one of which was another defenseless female. There is hope that the crown will actually carry through this time with the charges of uttering threats and breach of conditions from his previous charges. His wife has also been charged and given conditions, however it is hard to know if the crown will or is able to do the right thing. From one looking at this troubling video of Richard Harmer openly threatening to shoot a 1st nations female, one has to wonder if the police are at least looking into this character more to make sure he has absolutely no connection to any missing persons on the highway of tears or any other potential cold cases. Seems reasonable.
There are allegedly more disturbing videos of Richard Harmer and his wife. Its not okay to threaten mid 30's females 1st nations mothers. Nor is it acceptable to harass their young children. Such a brave man this Richard Harmer. But really just a coward.
