Zodiac Inshore Tour
Our Inshore Zodiac Tour explores the sheltered waters of Terra Nova National Park while searching for eagles, whales, and icebergs along the coastline. Along the way, we visit beautiful coastal campsites including Minchin’s Cove and South Broad Cove, offering a unique view of the park from the water. Zodiac Offshore Tour
Our Offshore Zodiac Tour heads beyond the coastline to
explore the entrance of Bonavista Bay. We visit the large puffin colony on Little Denier Island while searching for whales, icebergs, and the many eagle nests scattered along our coast. From there, we pass through Scott’s Tickle to the resettled community of Smokey Hole. Guests will also hear stories of Happy Adventure’s pirate history before venturing into Sandy Cove’s famous sea cave, “The Dungeon.” The tour also includes a stop at Sandy Cove’s stunning white sandy beach and sand bank. Hiking Shuttle Services
We offer pick-up and drop-off services to Minchin’s Cove, where guests can enjoy a scenic 4 km hike to the summit of Mount Stanford for breathtaking views of Bonavista Bay, or continue along Terra Nova National Park’s Outport Trail. Taxi services to Minchin’s Cove are available one-way or round trip. Overnight tours and sunset tours can also be arranged upon request. Kayak Tours
Prefer to paddle? Join one of our guided kayak tours departing from Terra Nova National Park. Our tours follow the coastline toward Buckley’s Cove, where guests learn paddling basics while taking in the scenic coastline and soaring eagles overhead. As we continue toward Mount Stanford, our guides share stories about Newfoundland’s marine life, coastal ecosystems, and the natural beauty of Terra Nova National Park. Looking for something more adventurous? Try our Dungeon Tour. Paddle along the coast of Sandy Cove before venturing through the dark sea cave known as “The Dungeon” to discover the hidden beach tucked inside. Kayaks are also available for rent for experienced paddlers from our Terra Nova National Park location.
