This season has been quite a fun adventure, but with the end of season approaching and limited funding, we will be adjusting our hours. the new hours will be 11 am - 4 pm starting August 24th thru till September 7th.

Let's ready for the up coming annual The Not Since Moses event this coming August 16th 2026! at 8:30am! Where people will meet at The Five Islands Lighthouse Park, and for the Kids Race at The five Islands Provincial Park! Walk or Run! Signing up is Free! 😄
And prepare to make sure NOT to bring your best running shoes. (unless you're looking to dye them a new shade of brown.) 😉👟

Heading down for Not Since Moses weekend? Start your coastal adventure a day early with us!
Join us on Saturday, August 15 from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM for a guided Species at Risk Sunset Hike at Five Islands Provincial Park!
As we explore the iconic Old Wife section of the park—one of the best places in the world to see the dramatic story of Pangea breaking apart and the Atlantic Ocean being born—we'll discover some of the Bay of Fundy's most unique and important coastal species, including the remarkable Atlantic Mud Piddock and its fragile shoreline habitat.
Want to help protect our local environment? During this evening walk, you'll learn how these fascinating creatures fit into our coastal ecosystem and discover simple ways you can help keep species like the Atlantic Mud Piddock thriving right here on our shores.
Whether you're running the mudflats the next day or simply love exploring Nova Scotia's coastline at sunset, this is a wonderful opportunity to experience a landscape of global significance while discovering the incredible biodiversity that calls it home.

Us at Cliffs of Fundy Geopark Welcome Center in Economy, Nova Soctia when there's a partial solar eclipse on Wednesday, August 12th, 2026.

(Small tip: stop by our center with your solar glasses to watch the partial eclipse, or a welding mask. Those work too. Although glasses are probably easier to find.)
