These dance moves will make your body move without permission.

UFest brings nearly 1,200 Ukrainian performers to Edmonton's Borden Park for two days of high-kicking, boot-stomping, skirt-spinning energy. This is what free looks like in Canada's Festival City.

“Bateau Mouche” experience in the heart of Edmonton… would you believe it? 🚢☀️

The Edmonton Queen riverboat experience is honestly not less fascinating than the world-famous Bateaux Mouches in Paris.

This week, Alberta Travel Living had the pleasure of joining the Riverboat Industry Cruise hosted by Explore Edmonton, bringing together partners from across Edmonton’s visitor economy for an afternoon on the North Saskatchewan River to connect, share ideas, and enjoy the city from a different perspective.

From the river, Edmonton feels peaceful, vibrant, and full of hidden beauty. The skyline, the bridges, the River Valley, the summer atmosphere.

A big thank you to Explore Edmonton for hosting such a meaningful gathering for the tourism industry.

Definitely an experience Alberta Travel Living would recommend for visitors exploring Edmonton, Canada’s Festival City. 🌿

☀️ A sunny day outside the Canada Place building in Downtown Edmonton.

Glass towers reflecting the blue sky, people crossing the streets, and that calm-but-busy downtown energy that only shows up when the weather finally turns warm in Alberta.

Sometimes the best travel moments are simply walking through the city and feeling its rhythm.

💗Spring is back in Edmonton and so are the geese!

At William Hawrelak Park, one of the signature lakefront parks in Edmonton’s River Valley — the largest urban parkland system in North America — even the familiar Canada goose is returning after the park reopened from a major 3-year renewal.

This is where Edmonton’s summer begins: festivals, picnics, walks by the water, and outdoor events all season long.

👉If you’re visiting Edmonton, this is one of the first places to experience the city’s Festival City energy. 🌿☀️

Edmonton, not Europe 🇨🇦

At West Edmonton Mall, the 2nd largest shopping mall in North America, you can walk along Europa Boulevard, a street designed with classic European-style façades right in Edmonton, the capital of Alberta.

A little European atmosphere to explore on your next visit to the mall.
