Have you ever walked down to the boardwalk by the Edmonton Riverboat?

Most of the time, we can see all the way down the stairs to the river bed as pictured here.

This June, the river rose so high the water reached up to the 4th stair of the boardwalk! Where the vehicle is parked on the far right, was submerged. Thankfully the North Saskatchewan has resided to normal levels for this time of year - phew!

Did you know you can reserve a VIP table when booking your dinner buffet cruise? 🥂

While most seating is first come, first served, you also have the option to upgrade to a reserved VIP table during the booking process.

Choose an indoor or outdoor table, and even have one or two bottles of wine waiting for you when you arrive.

It's the perfect way to celebrate a special occasion—or simply make your evening on the river even more memorable. ✨

Enjoy a 90-minute cruise with a delicious buffet meal included. Join us for dinner Wednesday through Sunday, or brunch on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (Available May–September)

⚓ Cruise Only Tickets
Take in the same beautiful 90-minute cruise without the buffet. À la carte food and drinks are available for purchase onboard. Cruise Only tickets are released four days before departure.

Here comes the gangway! ⚓ Here's a sped-up look at one of the many behind-the-scenes moments that keeps every cruise running smoothly.

It might not be the star of the show, but it's one of the hardest-working pieces of equipment on the Edmonton Riverboat. Without it, boarding supplies and guests would be quite a challenge!

Every cruise ends the same way: once our Captain and crew have safely secured the boat to the pilings, the gangway is carefully lowered for disembarking and we switch from boat sourced energy to shore power.

Also the one with the most responsibility. 😅
