Rare Nursing Contract for the Right Person

The Sitting Room is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in physician-directed psychedelic-assisted therapy.

This is not a typical role.

You won’t be asked to diagnose.
You won’t be asked to provide psychotherapy.
You won’t be asked to step outside your scope.

Instead, you’ll work within clearly defined clinical boundaries, supported by our Medical Director and a team of Psychedelic Practitioners—offering grounded, professional support to clients navigating altered states of consciousness.

The medicine matters.
But it isn’t the whole story.

We are looking for someone who understands that sometimes the most important intervention is restraint.
That steadiness is a skill.
That presence can be clinical.

This role isn’t for everyone.
It’s “heart work”, and for the right person, deeply meaningful.

Our clients require support that does not fit neatly within traditional clinical frameworks. Your credentials matter—but your ability to work within a team, and to support clients through altered states of consciousness, matters more.

You will be supported by our Medical Director and a team of Psychedelic Practitioners, working within clear clinical and ethical boundaries.

You will not be asked to diagnose.

You will not be asked to provide psychotherapy.

You will not be asked to work beyond your scope.

Instead, you will be invited into a different kind of practice—one grounded in steadiness, presence, and deep respect for the human experience.

This role may feel unfamiliar.

At times, it may feel counterintuitive.
