Let's talk ✨After Hours✨ at Walt Disney World!

This might be controversial for some but I prefer to knock a full park day off my schedule and instead opt for an After Hours ticket for that park!

✨Light crowds. This is the best part! Imagine riding your faves over and over – no long lines! For East and I, riding Slink 3 times in a row to close down the park was a Core Memory!

✨Extra Park Time: You can enter the park 2-3 hours before the official event start. This is a great time to eat dinner so you're not wasting peak ride time later.

✨Free Snacks & Drinks! Yep, you heard that right! Your ticket includes complimentary ice cream, popcorn, and bottled drinks. (If you're wondering how many Mickey bars I can eat in an After Hours it's 3 1/2.)

✨Super Chill Vibe: The parks just feel different when they're less crowded at night. It's quieter, the lights look extra magical, and it's just a really cool, relaxed atmosphere.

✨Awesome Photos: With fewer people around, you can snap some amazing, unobstructed photos in front of the castle or Spaceship Earth. Characters are always wandering around too.

✨Free Up Your Day: Spend it resting up for your late night, floating in the pool, shopping at Disney Springs or resort hopping!

Basically, if you're like me and want to prioritize getting the most of your favourite rides over seeing shows this might be something worth looking into!

Have you seen the new live-action Lilo and Stitch yet? We went on the weekend and I have to say I liked it as much as the original! 🎥

Also, did you dress up for the movie? You know we did! 😆 I was pleasantly surprised by how many cute Stitch outfits, hats and stuffies we saw in the crowd!

Magic Kingdom News! 📰

One of my very favourite rides is getting ready to close for a long refurbishment. Beginning January 6, 2025, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad will be closed until 2026.

🔥 Tip- If you're lucky enough before it closes, I highly recommend riding twice. Once in the daylight and again at night! It feels like a completely different ride!!! 😱😍

⚠️The latest from Walt Disney World on closures ahead of Hurricane Milton.⚠️

"We continue to closely monitor the path of Hurricane Milton. Based on the latest projection, we are making additional operational adjustments for the safety of our Guests and Cast Members beginning tomorrow, Oct. 9.

Walt Disney World Theme Parks
On Oct. 9, our theme parks and Disney Springs will be closed in phases beginning at 1 p.m.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom will close at 1 p.m.
Magic Kingdom, EPCOT and Disney Springs will close at 2 p.m.

It is likely the theme parks will remain closed on Thursday, Oct. 10. We will consider opening Disney Springs Thursday late afternoon with limited offerings. This includes the cancellation of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom on Oct. 10. Event tickets will be refunded."
