We are located just over the border from International Falls, MN, in Fort Frances, Ontario. Our DeHavilland turbine Otters will fly you and your group up to 200 miles north to a remote lake with fantastic fishing.

A great Northern Wilderness experience!
What started out to be another snag turned into a fish of a lifetime for Dave. When he realized it wasn’t a snag all heck started to break loose. I asked if he needed the net, he said i think i need a deer rifle instead. When the big pike decided she wanted nothing to do with the boat she took line so fast Daves thumb started to burn (he had a walleye bait casting reel with 10 pound line) and told me to start going after the pike with the boat, which I did. Finally gaining on the big pike and making sure i didn’t go to fast to have slack in the line we made progress. Then the pike decided again not to cooperate and off she goes along with me chasing after it again. Again making progress with Dave reeling her in the pike surfaced about 40 feet from the boat and i got a glimpse of her tail that looked as wide as a ruler, (but I didn’t measure it) The wind pushed the boat to the fish while Dave kept the line tight. I thought she would give me one opportunity to net it (in a walleye net) which was only about 10-12 inches deep. I got the fish head in the net with about 30 inches of the fish sticking out of the net and managed to haul her into the boat. 30 minutes of chaos surely turned into a fish story of a lifetime. Glad I was able to witness it, congratulations Dave on a northern pike of a lifetime. The pike measured 46 inches. The fish was released for someone else to catch. I know Kevin I shouldn’t have used the net, but with no leader I thought the net was a better choice.
