Jesse managed to place a perfect arrow into this thick old Alberta bear, and it didn’t go 20! With a wide skull and a large smile shaped white chest patch, Jesse knew this was the bear for him.

Congratulations to Teagan on her first bear, taken with her bow after passing up a multitude of bears hoping for just the right one.

This boar came in and she knew it was the bear for her. She executed a perfect shot and he expired inside 30 yards.

He has a distinct cinnamon back, chocolate brown sides and black toes, making her first bear unforgettable as an incredible tri-color phase northern Alberta black bear.

Greg showed up with a goal of taking a bear with a recurve bow, and spent his mornings practicing so he would be ready if the opportunity presented itself.

It wasn’t long before this awesome boar came in and Greg placed a wooden arrow perfectly into this brute at a distance of 5 yards from a short stand only 8 feet off the ground.

The sun has set on our 2024 hunt and it was an incredible year. We had a 100% success rate with one hunter taking home two trophy bears. 50% of the bears taken were color phase, including blonde, cinnamon, chocolate, and white patched bears.

6 P&Y caliber bears and 2 B&C. Our heaviest bear was 387 lbs with multiple surpassing 350. Each hunter saw anywhere from 5-12 bears each sit on average.

Our hunters were extremely impressed with the quality of bears in the area, and with the amount of colored bears seen, we have a healthy population for years to come. The addition of Starlink in camp, unlimited hot showers, and delicious home cooked meals was the icing on the cake.

Zach came to hunt with us from Florida, and toughed out some serious (cold) time on stand during the week. It all came together for him on the last night when this 350 lb old boar came along and Zach took his first ever archery bear!

This boar had almost no top teeth and was missing a large canine tooth, an old warrior that has roamed this area for many years. Great patients Zach, and congratulations on a fantastic bear!

We had a bait getting hit hard by sows and we knew it was only a matter of time before a bruiser came along. After 18 total hours on stand, this 382 lb old boar strolled in and our hunter Steve was ready for him.

“Big Red”… our first quality colored bear of the year! We only have cell service at one of our baits, so the fact that we have one bruiser color phase bear on cell cam is a good indication that the rest of the baits are popping too!

Unfortunately two of our guests just had to cancel last minute for our May 19-26 hunt.. we would love to fill these spots and give you the opportunity to harvest a bear like this.
