There’s been a murder at Ackerton Manor. 🔎

A missing diamond. A house full of suspects. And one very dramatic detective determined to uncover the truth.

Murder at Ackerton Manor brings an Agatha Christie-style mystery to the Springer Theatre through September 13, complete with mistaken identities, suspicious characters, unexpected twists and plenty of laughs along the way.

Make a night of it in Gananoque with dinner downtown, a stroll along the waterfront and an evening of live theatre.

September looks good on the 1000 Islands. 🌻

Summer may be winding down, but Gananoque Horticultural Society Park is still bursting with colour.

Throughout September, the Pollinator Garden comes alive with towering zinnias, delicate cosmos, purple, pink and white cleome, and golden marigolds that continue blooming well into fall. Look a little closer and you’ll spot butterflies and other pollinators moving from flower to flower throughout the garden.

Located at 21 Main Street in Gananoque, the park is free to visit and makes an easy addition to a late-summer stroll through town.

Late summer is one of the best times to visit the Gananoque Farmers' Market. 🍅

As the growing season reaches its peak, local vendors fill their stalls with fresh-picked produce, handmade preserves, baked goods, artisan breads, beautiful floral arrangements, and other locally made favourites.

Held every Thursday throughout the summer at 30 King Street East, it's the perfect place to pick up seasonal ingredients, meet local producers, and enjoy the flavours of the 1000 Islands before the harvest season begins to wind down.

Whether you're shopping for a picnic, a cottage meal, or simply browsing the market, it's a delicious way to spend a summer morning.

Summer isn't over yet. See the 1000 Islands from a whole new perspective. 🚁

There's still time to experience one of the region's most unforgettable adventures. Lift off for a scenic helicopter flight above one of Canada's most iconic landscapes, where thousands of islands, winding waterways, historic castles, and the St. Lawrence River stretch as far as the eye can see.

Whether you choose a quick scenic tour or a longer flight, you'll enjoy incredible aerial views of landmarks like Boldt Castle, Singer Castle, Millionaires' Row, the 1000 Islands Tower, and the iconic Ivy Lea Bridge, revealing parts of the region you simply can't see from the road or the water. Many tours can also be paired with local dining, craft beverages, and other regional experiences for an unforgettable day in the 1000 Islands.

Make the most of the final weeks of summer with a view you'll never forget.
