Tours this summer! Gander is located in the centre of Newfoundland, making it the ideal location to explore a variety of destinations! Some of our tour options include:

1 Hour Sightseeing Tour Possible Locations: Fly over Gander, Lewisporte, or Gambo, Newfoundland. Witness Mount Peyton, the Gander Lake, and learn about different Ship Wrecks. Hear about historic Air Crashes, such as the Dr. Fredrick Banting crash site, and the Sebena disaster.

1.5 Hour Sightseeing Tour Possible Locations: If you want to see Icebergs, this is the tour for you! In 1.5 hours you can fly out over Twillingate, NL and see icebergs and lighthouses from the air! You could also fly over Fogo Island, a unique community in our province. Another option is a flight over the historic town of Trinity, before continuing on to view the beautiful lighthouse in Bonavista. Gros Morne National Park Sightseeing Tour: Not only is Gros Morne one of the most beautiful places in the province, it is one of the most beautiful places in all of Canada. Fly over the spectacular glacial valleys, and witness the magnificent Ten Mile Pond. The tour would take about 3.5-4 hours. This is just enough time to see this natural wonder, and would allow more time for exploring the rest of the province! John's Sightseeing Tour: Experience Newfoundland's Capital City from the sky! Fly over Signal Hill, where Marconi received the first transatlantic wireless signal. Travel over Cape Spear, the most Easternly point in North America, and marvel at the beautiful lighthouse and rugged coastline. This tour would take about 3.5-4 hours, but we guarantee it will be a few hours you will not soon forget! GFT has the ability to travel to other locations throughout Newfoundland and Labrador for sightseeing. If you would like to see a specific land mark or place, it can be arranged for you in advance! They have been developed to allow Flight Instructors to have another opportunity to accumulate flight hours, and to provide a unique tour experience within Newfoundland and Labrador.
