It's been a while since we have updated this page but you can always find us, active and busy, over on Instagram 💚

Hello SPRING 🌱

That sunshine sure is taking her sweet time, however, we are holding out hope that the grass will be green, and the trees will be budding in no time!

We can't wait to get some much needed spring cleaning done in the next few weeks before opening up again on May long weekend,

Don't forget : we only take a handful of bookings per month due to health restrictions, so if you're looking at coming out to enjoy glamping at BP this Spring/Summer, make sure you contact us asap to book your stay!

Bedding, all of your firewood, and full spa access are all included with your booking. Just bring yourself, delicious food, some cozy clothes to crawl into after the spa, and a good book to read while you lounge in the hammock ✨

It's never too late.

Six years ago, we suffered a heartbreaking miscarriage that projected us into what was very easily the worst year of our lives.

I was working 4 jobs, 18 hours/day, running on no sleep, and had not had a single day off in 7 month in addition to dealing with some very scary and exhausting depression.

I was burnt out. We were falling apart, and nobody was happy. We realized that big changes had to be made.

It has been over 4 years since we asked each other :

"If there were zero limitations, and you could do anything in the world, what would that look like"

Boreal Plains has now been running for over 2 years and our life will never be the same because of it,

In that time we have :

Gained superhost status 🌟
Hosted over 1000 guests ❤️
Built our first house 🏠
Left our unfulfilling jobs 👍

The cherry on top?

Being able to stay home FT with our two beautiful babies 👶

How did we do all of that?

We got SUPER serious about what we wanted our life to look like within 5 years time and got to work.

Set goals. Discussed dreams. Came up with a plan!

Most days I STILL can't believe that we get to live this life and often reflect on how far we have come, while also being so excited about our families future.

I won't lie :

Last year was a doozy for our family

I sometimes wonder if we were thinking straight when we decided to start up this adventure in addition to parenting young kiddos, building a house and navigating general life

But the funny thing is :

I think that this business,

The endless property chores,

All of our incredible guests,

THAT is exactly what has kept us sane through the lows of 2023.

It has been the one constant that has continued to get us up every morning, into the fresh air, and helped us to reset our hearts and minds on some of the harder days

This business has seen our families blood, sweat and tears these past 12 months

But I am increasingly thankful that no matter what life brings us outside of this business,

That this property is always waiting and ready to call us back out for some fresh air and a reset ❄️
