Camp Misquah is the chosen charity for the Grit & Grind Trail Series: Carlington Hill Edition presented by Arc’teryx! 🏃‍♂️⛰️

🎉 All proceeds support Camp Misquah.

Misquah is looking for 5-10 volunteers to help with a water station, and support the race. Those interested should email: [email protected]

Join us on June 14th from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for a fun day at camp with lunch, activities, and site cleanup as we gear up for an exciting season. Whether you’re helping out, visiting, or just lending moral support, all are welcome!

Race weekend schedule:
📍 Race Kit Pick-Up
Carleton Sportsplex
🗓️ Thursday evening to Saturday afternoon

🏃‍♂️ Race Day – Saturday
🔸 2K at 3:00 PM
🔸 Team Misquah Photo at 3:30 PM (City Hall!)
🔸 5K at 4:00 PM
Plus—we’ve got runners in the 10K, half marathon, AND our amazing Camp Directors are tackling the marathon! 💪🔥

It’s finally here… our Summer Kick Off is happening June 8th!
Join us at the Ron Kolbus Lakeside Centre from 3–5 p.m. for an afternoon of fun! 😎

There’ll be:
• Games
• Face painting
• Dancing
• A chance for campers to meet our awesome new & returning staff!

📣 Big news! Thanks to the Federal Government’s New Horizons program and your generous support, we’re opening a brand new accessible cabin!

Located close to the washroom and dining hall, it’s perfect for seniors and campers with mobility challenges.

It will feature single beds (no bunks!) and space for up to 6 campers.

We can’t wait to welcome you! 🏕️🧡

We had a great time at the fourth annual Moosa Paloosa Hockey Tournament on April 12th in support of Camp Misquah! Thank you to all attendees for coming out and bringing your Misquah cheer. We raised over $8,000.00! 🏒⛸️🧡

BIG NEWS! Please join us in welcoming Kristy Biddle to the Misquah family as the new Executive Director at Camp Misquah!
Kristy joins us with extensive summer camp programming, leadership experience, and a passion for her community.

“Kristy Biddle, B.A. Psychology, is a dedicated community leader passionate about inclusivity and fostering supportive environments. Drawing on extensive experience in summer camp programming through her family’s ownership of Renfrew-Ottawa West KOA, she brings extensive experience in creating vibrant, inclusive and engaging outdoor environments.

Her professional background includes several leadership roles in human resources, equity, diversity, and inclusion, complemented by volunteer leadership as President of Metcalfe and District Ringette Association and Vice-President of Osgoode Cooperative Nursery School, where she successfully secured significant fundraising and grants.

Kristy actively champions equity in sports, particularly for women and girls in ringette, and advocates for mental health and neurodiversity awareness. Coming from a large family, Kristy deeply values community, connection, and all things outdoors. She is thrilled to advance Camp Misquah’s mission and foster meaningful opportunities for campers and families.”
