There are some people who come to work for you… and then there are the ones who somehow become part of the family. ❤️
Our Chloe has been with Sea Watch since the very beginning, when we took over from the previous owners. We’ve watched her grow up right alongside this little business of ours, and somehow, while we weren’t paying attention, she went and became an adult. 🥹
And now she’s leaving us for nursing school— which we are incredibly proud of… while also being just a tiny bit offended that she thinks she can leave us. 😂
Over the years, Chloe has brought so much to Sea Watch: her attitude and sense of humour, her very strong opinions about cleanliness, her ability to make a mean hot chocolate, enough Grand Manan history to keep the tourists entertained, and perhaps most importantly, the knowledge of exactly where to send someone when they ask, “Where can I get a lobster?”🦞😂
She has worked hard, laughed with us, put up with us, helped keep us organized (and clean 😏), and become such an important part of Sea Watch that it’s hard to imagine a summer without her.
Chloe, we are SO proud of you. Nursing is gaining a wonderful one, and we know you’re going to do amazing things. We’ll miss you more than you know. ❤️
We hope you have the absolute best time at school, learn lots, make incredible memories and enjoy this next chapter.
And while we fully support you spreading your wings and becoming a nurse… we are secretly hoping nursing school leaves a few weeks open every summer so you can come home and work on the boat. You know… just enough time to make some hot chocolate, clean something that apparently wasn’t clean enough, tell a little GM history and direct a few tourists toward their lobster. 😂
We love you, Chloe. Thank you for growing up with Sea Watch. You will always have a place here. ❤️⚓️
