After several weather cancellations over the past weeks, Jay and his Coast Guard helicopter crew have landed in Pettes Cove !!!! Yeah !! A welcome site for all of us!
THE PENINSULA WILL BE CLOSED FOR THE MORNING WHILE THE COAST GUARD TRANSPORTS MATERIALS OVER TO THE TOWER.
Come down to watch our skilled Coast Guard force do their stuff. We are so appreciative of what you are doing. You are essential to our restoration of Swallow Tail Lighthouse!!!!!!

Is that SUN and a heat advisory all in one weekend? ☀️

We have a jam-packed weekend coming up that includes ME competing in a lobster eating contest on Sunday at the Festival du homard de Shediac Lobster Festival 🦞

I know — pinch me!

It’s a dream come true for this mermaid.

But here’s a look at some other exciting happenings on the coast of New Brunswick / Nouveau-Brunswick this weekend!

📍 Shediac

The 2023 Lobster Festival is underway, and the carnival grounds and Campbell Amusements are open 🎡

1755 hits the stage in the Grousse Tent tonight {tickets still available} and on Sunday, come by the lobster eating contest in Pascal Poirier Park from 6-8pm! Will I sea you there?

We also heard a rumour on the shell phone, and it’s true!

Our friends at Euston Park Social have opened a TIKI BAR on Parlee Beach! Yeah, buoy! I can't wait to go see!

📍Caissie Cape

Atlantic Ballet Atlantique Canada's Ballet by the Ocean is back for another amazing season, with performances beginning this weekend! Catch your tickets for this uniquely coastal experience!

📍 New River Beach

The 2023 Sand Sculpture Competition is happening this Sunday, July 9th and Monday, July 10th! Watch sculptors compete against the Bay of Fundy tides to build epic creations.

📍 Grand Manan Island

The whales are here, and Lambert Family Adventures Whale and Wildlife Tours is kicking off another fun-filled summer season on the Bay!
