THIS IS WHY I LOVE NEGRIL AND JAMAICA AND THE SAMSARA CLIFFS ...
When people ask me what my fav island is ... I answer Jamaica.
When people ask me why? I say its a beautiful place with amazing beaches and lush tropical rhythms ... the reggae and local roots music are always evident, in venues and in people ... and oh yeah mangoes.
Why Negril is rather obvious ... 7 mile stretch of white sand to walk along, so many locally owned shoppes and tents and food to sample along the way ... the Cliffs are my favourite place to end up at night ... having the sister Legends handy is such a bonus too!
Why Samsara ... I know the challenges of booking a 3 1/2 star all inclusive ... similar local food but well done and well served ... the staff are so great to us all there, so appreciative and so willing to share the excitement that the blues music brings ... the front desk staff are second to none *my personal assistants* and brighten up my day every morning ... all you have to do is ASK and Jamaicans will always at least try, that is a fact. Service is their strong suit.
With a smaller property like this one, 80 rooms, we can typically do what we want when it comes to entertainment and thats part of the reason we sign up for Jah Blues tours! We never take any locals jobs or places or cancel any shows in place ... Samsara offers local reggae twice a week, Legends once. We take full advantage of that too!
