It was a pleasure to have Mayor Cam Guthrie visit our Red Top office to inaugurate our new mobility van!
This van is more than just a vehicle, it represents our progress, teamwork, and community care. It shows what's possible when we all come together to make Guelph more inclusive and accessible for everyone.
Our mobility service is a lifeline for many. Especially students who need accessibility support, and seniors who rely on us to get to doctor's appointments, hospitals, and retirement homes safely and on time.
A big thank you to the City of Guelph and especially Mayor Cam Guthrie for recognizing how important mobility services are to our community and for supporting us in keeping this vital service on the road.
The cost of these vehicles has doubled, and with the added convrsion, operating and maintenance expenses while taxi fares remain fixed, It can be challenging to manage amid rising costs. However, with continued support of both the city and the community, we can keep making a difference together.
