After 43 years in business, Tri City Travel is no longer taking new clients and our office on Woolwich street is now closed. I have had the privilege of learning from the best while working with Cathy for the last 4 years. She loved her work and thought of her clients as friends which is what brought people back year after year to book their trips at Tri City Travel. With the blessing of Cathy's husband Paul and her family, I will be taking over the phone number from Tri City as my number at my new home-based travel agency Burkhart Vacations- TPI. I would love the opportunity to continue helping you with your vacation needs by offering you the same level of dedication and care that Cathy would. Thank you all for sharing your kind words and stories about Cathy. It is a true testament to the special person that she was. She was such a gift to us all. We will celebrate her life and cherish our memories. ❤️

It is with extreme sadness that I share the news that Cathy Grimwood has peacefully passed away after a 3 month battle with brain cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family. She was a kind, caring woman who loved her work and was dedicated to her clients whom she considered her friends. She was loved by so many and taken far too soon. She will be greatly missed. Rest in peace sweet Cathy. Funeral arrangements will be posted here tomorrow once they have been made.
