We spent a long time building this trip, so seeing our first Stories of the North group finally set off felt pretty special 🤎

We began by learning from the people who call this land home. From there, the journey took us into Kluane’s enormous mountains before the scenery completely changed among Tombstone’s sharp peaks and fall colours. Along the way, we swapped our usual bus basecamp and tents for a few nights in a proper Yukon cabin. 🍂

Now we’re halfway to the Arctic Ocean.

The ocean may be the final destination, but this trip was never just about getting there. It’s about everything and everyone along the road and taking the time to actually experience it.

Part II coming soon. →

December plans? We’ve got an idea.

We drive the bus south. Pick you up in Mexico. Set up camp under some very big walls. Climb all day. Talk beta all night. Squeeze in one more burn. Tacos somewhere in between.

Then do it all again the next day.

Send season in El Potrero Chico 🇲🇽

Somewhere between Grizzly and Talus, the rest of the world starts to feel very far away.

We just returned from this year’s Tombstone Lakes Circuit, and once again, this place left the entire group in awe. Granite spires in every direction and alpine lakes below camp.

And after five days out there, we trade the trail for one well-earned night in good old Dawson City.

We only take one group through here each year.

The next one leaves August 16, 2027.

Will you be joining us? 🙌

Mountains or beach?
Or both 😎

This one packs a lot into 14 days.

We start in Tepoztlán, head into the mountains, climb La Malinche at 4,461 m, then take on Pico de Orizaba at 5,636 m.

And after all that? We point west, road trip across Mexico, and finish on the Pacific with surf, tacos, sunsets, and a very different kind of adventure 🌋🚌🌊

High altitude. Road trip. Beach days. One trip.

A couple of spots are already claimed, with 6 still open for January 8–21, 2027.

Mexico, anyone? 👀

We launched a whole new Yukon trip and apparently forgot to properly introduce it.

Excellent marketing on our part. 😂

Meet LAST LIGHT 🌒

An expedition into that strange little window when the Yukon can’t decide whether it’s still autumn or already winter.

The days are getting darker, the roads are getting (even) quieter and tourist season is officially over. We’ll hike through changing mountain conditions, camp in wild places and spend our evenings around the fire, or warming up beside the woodstove inside the Squatch Bus 🔥

One day might bring crisp autumn air. The next could bring fresh snow, frozen lakeshores and northern lights overhead.

The itinerary stays flexible, because in October, the Yukon is in charge.

Name a better campsite. We’ll wait. 👀

Bock’s Lake to Congdon Creek in Kluane National Park is one of those trails people don’t see coming. It’s one of our guides’ absolute favourites and somehow still one of Kluane’s most underrated routes.

Fall doesn’t last long up here. So we’re chasing it north 🍂

15 days through three wildly different corners of the Yukon — Carcross → Kluane → Tombstone — hiking our way through golden forests, big mountain country and tundra turning fiery red.

And when the hiking boots come off? The Squatch Bus is home. Cozy nights in the middle of nowhere, darker September skies and maybe, if we get lucky, a little green dancing overhead 👀

Come chase fall with us.

PATAGONIA, THE YUSQUATCH WAY.

This one has been a dream for a long time and it’s finally happening.

In February 2027, we’re taking our first crew to Patagonia for a 14-day expedition combining two very different ways of exploring this wild corner of the world.

🥾 First, we take on the complete Torres del Paine O Trek ~130 km around the entire Paine Massif, including the quieter and wilder northern side of the circuit.

🛶 Then, we swap our boots for packrafts and head out among Patagonia’s glaciers and remote fjords for the final chapter of the expedition.

And because this is our Pioneer Departure, the first group gets something special: an introductory Pioneer price for being there at the very beginning.

O Trek + glacial packrafting. 14 days. Max 8 adventurers.

Patagonia is calling. 🤘🇨🇱

The North isn’t just a place you visit. It’s something you experience.

So no, this isn’t a sightseeing tour.

It’s an adventure. We hike, camp, road trip all the way to the Arctic Ocean, and spend our days immersed in some of the wildest landscapes in Canada.

But what makes this journey different is that you don’t just travel through these places: you learn about them from the people who have called them home for generations. Suddenly, you’re not just looking at a mountain, a valley, or the tundra. You understand the stories, history, and culture behind them.

And that changes the way you experience the North 🤍
