✨VEGAS HOTELS✨
During our trip to Vegas, we stayed at multiple hotels and explored others as well. Because of this I can provide some good insight on where to stay, and to avoid when you travel to Vegas!
1. Caesars Palace: surprisingly, this was our least favourite by far! It’s HUGE, took forever to find the reception and then another 15 minutes to get to our room. We also learned that moving the items in the mini fridge sets off an alert and it charges your credit card for the items, even if you don’t drink it!
2. The Strat: this was a very pleasant surprise as it was the cheapest per night by far, and our favourite hotel. It is at the end of the strip closer to downtown, and a little less crowded so it’s important to be safe at night. Customer service was great and the rooms were very clean, and had Netflix!
I HIGHLY recommend using the transit system to get around the strip, especially if you’re staying on the end! A 3 day pass was $24 USD and made getting around soo much easier. Many stops that bring you from the Vegas sign all the way to Fremont street downtown! This is my plan right away next time I visit Vegas!
3. The Horseshoe/Ballys: kind of difficult to get to as the entrance isn’t right on the strip. Check in/out was super fast and we did it at the kiosk. Would recommend it for the right price, but I’m not sure if anything could beat the Strat!
Trip highlights will be posted this weekend 😊
