TheAfricville Museum offers your event delegates an opportunity to engage with an important chapter of Halifax's history and deepen their understanding of African Nova Scotian culture and heritage.

Africville was a vibrant African Nova Scotian community that existed along the Bedford Basin for more than 150 years. Residents built homes, businesses, a school, and the Seaview United Baptist Church, the heart of community life.

Despite this, the community was denied many basic municipal services and was ultimately demolished between 1964 and 1970.

Today, the Africville Museum shares the history, resilience, and legacy of the community through exhibits, storytelling, and educational experiences.

Since 1820, Alexander Keith's Brewery has been part of Halifax's story. Today, that history provides a unique backdrop for conferences, meetings, and events, offering planners a venue that feels distinctly Nova Scotian. The brewery's event spaces can accommodate everything from small meetings and breakouts to receptions for up to 275 guests.

Located on Halifax's waterfront, the brewery blends historic character with flexible event space. Delegates can gather in the Stag's Head pub, connect over a reception in the brewery, or explore spaces like the Atlantic Beer Institute for smaller networking events.

For planners looking to showcase a genuine sense of place, Alexander Keith's Brewery offers more than a venue, it connects you to one of Halifax's longest-standing landmarks and one of North America's oldest working breweries.
