People always ask me, “Why do you keep going back on Disney Cruises?” 🚢✨
To the outside world, it looks like just another vacation. But as a vegan mom to a vegan daughter, it’s so much more than that.
It’s one of the few places where I can genuinely exhale when it comes to food. 🍽️
Because if you’re a parent of a child with dietary requirements, or you have dietary requirements, you know the feeling.
You’re looking at a restaurant menu before you even get there. You’re wondering what they’ll be able to eat. You’re asking questions, explaining ingredients, checking and double-checking… and hoping your kid doesn’t end up with a plate of celery while everyone else is eating an amazing meal.

The dining teams are used to working with different dietary needs, and they get to know you throughout your sailing. They can talk through options, help navigate the menus, and work with the chefs to create meals that my daughter can actually enjoy.
WHY THIS MATTERS: Rotational dining means that your dining team moves with you every night, so you don’t have to constantly re-explain your requirements every night. Your dining team will also work with you if you need to pre-order something for a meal the next day. What really takes it to the next level is the dining teams work in other locations during the day, like the buffet or quick service locations, and will be able to help you there too!
And honestly? That’s the magic for me. 🤍
It means I get to spend dinner watching my daughter enjoy her food instead of worrying about what she’s going to eat.
