Today was all about the AGAWA TRAIN EXPERIENCE. What a fantastic day, gorgeous weather, breathtaking scenery and having our lunch in the Agawa Canyon. 114 miles north of Sault Ste. Marie taking 4 hours to arrive. It was worth every minute. Another check off the “Bucket List”

Day 3 of exploring northern Ontario including a drive across the Swing Bridge from Little Current to Goat Island, followed by stops at Chippewa Falls which is the halfway point of the Trans-Canada Hwy., The Canadian Carver and Agawa Crafts and the favourite of the day a huge Apple Fritter along with tea/coffee at Voyageurs Lodge and Cookhouse. Thank you Maxima Tours for this wonderful treat. Our group picture was taken in front of shore of Lake Superior. It’s been amazing seeing a beautiful area of home - ONTARIO

Day 2 of our Northern Ontario adventure. We started our day with a fantastic breakfast at the Tobermory Princess Hotel. We boarded the
Chi-Cheemaun Ferry to Manitoulin Island followed by a scenic nice drive with a stop at Bridal Veil Falls and some free time in “Ontario’s prettiest village”Kagawong. Lovely to see that the trees are starting to change.

We ended the day with a little free time in Little Current before checking into our Hotel - Manitoulin Hotel and
Conference Centre. Looking forward to dinner tonight.

First day of our five day adventure exploring northern Ontario - Tobermory, at the tip of the Bruce Penninsula was our first stop. Winds were high so boats were docked. We found lots of things to see and do in this beautiful town. Next off to Manitoulin Island.

Loved learning all about the Alpacas on our tour. Such interesting animals. Baby “Maximus” only four days old was so beautiful. Can’t wait to see him again next year when we visit again. After our tour we visited Bromont to visit the Chocolate Museum for shopping and lunch.
