The Trip That Changed Everything

🦒 I've travelled to many incredible places... but one destination completely stole my heart.

I watched elephants walk beneath Mount Kilimanjaro, stood just feet away from lions in the wild, listened to hippos outside my room at night, and witnessed sunsets that didn't even look real.

Kenya wasn't just a vacation.
It was an experience that changed the way I look at the world.

Not all lion sightings are created equal.

The **R5 Boys** are one of the most famous lion coalitions in the Maasai Mara — five powerful male lions that joined forces to dominate one of Africa's most iconic ecosystems.

What makes seeing them right now so special is that they're in a period of **transition**, searching for and challenging for new prides. This is one of the most critical and fascinating stages in a lion's life, where alliances are tested and legends are made.

I first spotted them from a hot air balloon floating silently over the Mara, then later had the incredible opportunity to see them up close on the ground. Moments like this are why people dream of Africa.
