When I’m planning a Walt Disney World vacation, I’d rather spend a little extra on things that make my trip easier, more memorable or give me more time to actually enjoy the parks.

✨🏰 Happy Birthday to Walt Disney World… and to me! 🎂✨
October 1 is extra magical around here because I get to share my birthday with the Most Magical Place on Earth! 🥹💙
Since opening its gates on October 1, 1971, Walt Disney World has been the backdrop for millions of magical memories — and it’s pretty fitting that someone who loves Disney as much as I do gets to share its special day. 🏰✨
So today, I’m celebrating another year around the sun AND another year of Disney magic! 🎉
Here’s to more birthdays, more Disney trips and plenty more magical memories to come. 🥂✨

I am an autumn. 🍂🎃🏰
But specifically…the kind of autumn that includes pumpkins on Main Street U.S.A., Mickey-shaped treats, costumes, trick-or-treating and Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. 👻
There's something SO good about Walt Disney World during fall.
The Halloween decorations. The atmosphere. The seasonal treats. Magic Kingdom completely transforming for MNSSHP after dark. And yes, somehow 80-degree Florida weather still feels like spooky season when there are Mickey pumpkins involved. 😂🎃

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is calling… 🎃🏰☎️

Magic Kingdom during spooky season just hits differently. 👻🧡
Trick-or-treating through the park, special entertainment, Disney characters dressed for Halloween, incredible costumes, spooky treats and that completely different Magic Kingdom atmosphere after dark.

But a hot Disney day doesn't have to mean spending your entire vacation feeling miserable!
Start your park day early, plan indoor attractions during the hottest afternoon hours, drink LOTS of water, pack a portable fan and sunscreen, and don't be afraid to head back to your Disney Resort for a pool or A/C break. 💦
And one of my favourite ways to embrace the heat? Add a Disney water park day! 🌊 It's the perfect opportunity to slow down, cool off and still enjoy a full day of Disney magic.
The biggest Disney World planning mistake? Thinking you have to spend every second from park open to park close inside a theme park. Sometimes that afternoon break is exactly what you need to come back refreshed for fireworks. 🏰✨
