Today marks Day 1 of our Shorebird Conservation & Education Project at Irving Nature Park!

A big thank you to Paul Martin, our official Beach Educator, who will be on the beach on weekdays throughout the season, taking counts of the shorebirds, helping visitors understand them and why giving them space to rest matters.

Our volunteer beach education teams will be on the beach on weekends starting August 22. Want to join them? There’s still time to sign up for our Volunteer Orientation on August 15!
