The Rowsell House Interpretation Center

Update on Interpretation Center in Harrington.
As of December 10, 2025 a new committee was formed.

The following members are as follows:

Ada Cox Ransom- President
Darrell Ransom- Vice President
Lee Ann Anderson - Treasurer
Louise Aube- Member
Orise Fequet Rowsell- Member
Wayne Foreman- Member
Grant Evans- Member
Kitty Sue Jones- Member
Andre Rowsell- Member

We have been busy cleaning up and re-organizing the Rowsell House in order to prepare for the summer season.

We will be submitting a project in the very near future in hopes of having a grant to do some repairs on the house.

We appreciate very much the visitors who have dropped by when we've been there working. The positive comments and suggestions are taken seriously.

We will keep you updated on any information we feel is important.

Over the last few weeks we have had people inquire about Harrington Harbour Stickers in connection to a Côte-Nord tourism project/contest, which has been linked below. We are happy to announce that we now have the stickers on hand, and you are more than welcome to stop by the Rowsell House during open hours to visit the museum and pick up your sticker.

Last season ended quite abruptly, but we are now back for another! It's a new year and new adventures await, and we will be all too happy to assist you in any way possible on your journey to discover and explore our beautiful region and its history.

Recognized as one of the most beautiful places in Quebec, Harrington Harbour is a place like no other. A network of boardwalks meander throughout the whole community, connecting houses, businesses and most places of interest.
