In preparation for his Lunar Voyage Canadian astronaut Jeremy Hansen studied the teachings of an Anishinaabe tale he learned from a Sagkeeng First Nation knowledge keeper. He shared this inspirational message with students from remote areas of Canada. "The teaching of the beaver is the teaching of you and I," Hansen said to the students. "We all have a gift and we are meant to share our gifts." His gift, he said, is to work with others on tough challenges. "Every single person across the country has the potential to deliver value and bring their gifts to the world," said Hansen. "Canada's future is dependent on all of us working together."
