🪧✨ Throwback Thursday ✨🪧

Every sign has a story to tell, and this week's Throwback Thursday is all about the signs that once welcomed visitors, marked local businesses, and became familiar sights around Hudson's Hope.

It's always fun to look back and see how our community has changed over the years while remembering the landmarks that helped shape its history.

Do you recognize any of these old signs? We'd love to know which ones you remember and any stories or memories they bring back. Share them in the comments! 💙

🦦💦 Wildlife Wednesday: Meet the River Otter! 💦🦦

River otters are playful, energetic mammals that spend much of their time in and around rivers, lakes, and wetlands. Excellent swimmers, they're often seen diving for fish or sliding along muddy and snowy riverbanks for fun.
Fun facts about the River Otter:

River otters can stay underwater for several minutes while searching for food.

Their dense fur helps keep them warm in cold Northern BC waters.

They use their whiskers to detect movement and locate prey underwater.

Otters are known for their playful behaviour, often sliding and wrestling with one another.

Have you ever seen a river otter swimming or playing along the Peace River? Share your experience in the comments!
