We know everyone is eagerly waiting for an update on our Skating Trail! ⛸️ We need very consistent, cold temperatures to begin building up the ice so it can last for the whole season!
Preparing the Skating Trail takes over 100,000 litres of water just to get enough ice built up before we can open it. The trail utilizes summer campground roads in the East River Campground, we flood these roads creating the trail, and continue building ice all winter long when the temperatures allow for freezing.
Currently, we have packed down the snow we have already gotten to form a base for the trail! Once we begin laying water, we will provide an update on the progress of the trail. Stay tuned!!❄️🌲🌨️

👻 Get ready for a spook-tacular evening at the Great Pumpkin Trail! Join us on October 31 for a night of trick-or-treating fun at Muskoka Heritage Place – where the thrills are sweet, and not scary! 🍬

🕒 Doors open at 5 PM until 8 PM (last entry at 7:30 PM)
🎟️ $10 per family or $3 per person. Costumes, candy bags, and smiles are a must!
