I loved this stop at Inglis, Manitoba! Five Inglis Grain Elevators have stood since 1922, the year the railway arrived at the newly created village of Inglis, Manitoba. The Inglis wooden grain elevators are a National Historic Site of Canada, preserving a rare example of a once common sight from the golden age of grain. The elevators were restored and protected as a National Historic Site because they represent the last complete row of standard plan grain elevators in Canada.
