Happy World Whale and Dolphin Day!!!

On July 23rd whales and dolphins are celebrated, this day was declared in 1986 by the International Whaling Commission (IWC) with the aim of stopping their indiscriminate hunting and raising awareness of their crucial role in the health of the ocean and the planet.

Good news story ! Congratulations to all involved
We’re so glad to hear that the minke whale was ok. Probably stressed out but alive!

Not something we see on the river everyday! Today our guests got a different experience, it's not normal that we see big whales out there.

*We did report the sighting, and if you are in the area and see this whale (or another similar wildlife) always report it 1-866-567-6277)
