As we head into a new summer season, we want to thank all our guests over the past two years who spent their valuable vacation time, wedding days, birthdays and family reunions at Lilypad Lookout.

We thoroughly enjoyed the experience, from tearing down our beloved old cottage of 28 years, through designing and building Lilypad Lookout. We learned to be Superhosts and met fascinating people from all over the world - from doctors, dog trainers, BBQ specialists and authors to members of Canada’s Womens’ Hockey Team. We had friends and family stay as well.

It is now time for us to close our doors as a short term rental, as Lilypad has become a full time home to our son, his wife and their baby boy.

Thank you for your support, if you are looking for somewhere to stay, please reach out and we can refer you to another beautiful place right on the lake just up the road.

We’ve made wonderful memories and now look forward to spending more time with our two beautiful grandchildren.

Two weeks ago donating plasma with Jim Lang to help people (and a dear friend of mine) fighting cancer. This morning a guest who stayed at Lilypad this weekend leaves me a book and thank you card. She is the author! Coincidence or Karma? Looking forward to reading and sharing it. 💕
