Yesterday’s Mountain Air Adventure Birthday Edition turned into the perfect birthday gift from Mother Nature.

In one incredible day we were treated to sightings of 3 bears, a magnificent buck in velvet with antlers already as thick as my arm (they’re going to be massive!), 4! ... Yes Four fawns, a whitetail deer, 4 Black tail deer. a porcupine, rabbits, and grouse.

Some days the mountains give you views. Other days they give you wildlife. Yesterday, they gave us both.

Most wildlife I have seen in one trip.

The other most-ever gift I received was all the birthday wishes from my Facebook friends. Thank you to everyone who took a moment to send their kind wishes—it truly made my day.

It’s the capital of the Napo Province and is often called the "cinnamon capital" of Ecuador because of its history with the spice.
That drive down from Baños is incredible—you literally watch the landscape transform from the high-altitude Andean cloud forests into the lush, dense Amazon basin as you drop down past Puyo. It’s one of the most scenic road trips in the country.

What started as a rough ride down gnarly ATV trails on MaFeet II turned into one of the most peaceful drone days we’ve ever had. 🚁🫎☀️

After bouncing through the BC backcountry on the ATV, we found ourselves in a stunning hidden meadow surrounded by birds singing, warm sunshine, flowing water, and endless mountain scenery. We kicked back on the picnic blanket, put on the drone goggles, and went searching for moose from the sky.

Along the way there were a few hilarious moments, some questionable ATV route decisions 😆, and even an unexpected sight we definitely weren’t expecting to see out there in the wilderness.

Beautiful BC never disappoints.
