White Storks were nesting everywhere on our early May 2026 tour to Southern Spain. These storks were nesting on top of church steeples, chimneys, power poles and all sorts of other structures. Their nest are huge too, with an average weight of over 800 lbs! This one was photographed by Chris Charlesworth at Doñana National Park.

This one, photographed by Chris Charlesworth, was east of Lake Country. Feb 2026.
