TOMORROW, August 5th!
Matiowski Farmers' Market is back under the Jarnel Contracting Pavilion.
Running every Wednesday until September 23rd, 8:30 am to 2:00 pm.
You will find produce, meat, treats, artisans, crafters, community groups, and so much more.
Check out who will be attending this week!
Visitors are reminded that no pets are allowed at the market due to health and safety. Service animals are permitted. Please make sure they are identifiable (ex. vest, collar, tag, etc).

Looking to get over to Coney Island for this weekends Shoreline festival or just to enjoy the beach! Catch the shuttle!

🚤 Getting to Coney Island is easy!

The Coney Island Shuttle operates 7 days a week throughout the summer (weather permitting), with departures from the Kenora Harbourfront docks.

💲 Round-trip fare: $10 per person, 5 and under are free

Need a ride outside of the regular shuttle schedule? Give the Lake of the Woods Marina a call! We'll do our best to accommodate you, but off-schedule trips are subject to driver and equipment availability.

We can't wait to welcome you to the island! ☀️🌊

Meet Laurie Thompson!

Laurie's had her art business for over 30 years and sells some gorgeous paintings using multiple different medians including acrylic, water color and oil paint.

This is Lauries first time at the Matiowski Market and has had non-stop customers all day! Her personal favourite are her oil paintings and acrylics especially the beautiful sail boats she's painted herself!

A fan favourites in Kenora has been her painting of the Kenora Yacht club selling not only the original but multiple prints of it.

Laurie's table has wonderful art pieces, make sure you stop by The Matiowski Farmers' Market TODAY until 2pm and check her business out!

Meet Amila from Tasty Heats Food Ink!

Tasty Heats has been around since 2016 starting off with just their hot sauce now they have expanded to many more delicious treats like their Cowboy Candy which I was able to try today and I only have good things to say!

This is their first year at the Matiowski Farmers' Market and they are selling great. They have a new fan fav every week, but Amila favourite is their Mild Rusty Hot Sauce.

Amila would like to give a shout out to Hayru, he loves their tea and would like for them to also be recognized!

Amila table has wonderful treats, make sure you stop by The Matiowski Farmers' Market TODAY until 2pm and check his business out!

Just a reminder... one of Kenora's biggest summer events is only a few weeks away! ☀️

The first-ever Coney Island Shoreline Music Festival is happening August 15, and you won't want to miss it!

Spend the afternoon on beautiful Coney Island with live music, great food, beach games, cold drinks, and an unforgettable summer atmosphere.

The Coney Island Shuttle will be running extended hours for the festival. Shuttle fare is $10 return per person, with children 5 and under riding free. (Shuttle fare is not included with festival admission.) We'll also have a limited number of public dock parking spots available, with a few reserved for drop-offs.
