Spring of 1975; we are still tapping the same bush and making maple syrup on the same farm 🍁

We had 2,000 buckets on the farm that we gathered by hand and boiled the sap in the chanty that is at the back of the farm.

Today, we use pipeline and a vacuum system to draw the sap out of the tree and boil using a natural gas evaporator.

Pictured here are Don and Helen and brothers, Ross and Stuart McLachlan. Ross and Stuart are still producing maple syrup (along with their families) to this day 🍁

March 5th; The first boil of 2025 🍁Oh how sweet it is to see the first crop of the season. Spring is officially here and we are busy gathering sap and boiling. Our pancake house is open March 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th from 9am-3pm 🥞 See you there!

We are open Thursday March 30th-Sunday April 2nd, 9am-3pm.

Wagon rides are available Saturday and Sunday $1/person.
