Appledore Seaside Cottage is located in LaHave Nova Scotia on the scenic south shore. It is home to many sandy beaches that are a mere 10 minutes down the road. Just about next door is the famous LaHave Bakery and the Cable Ferry that takes you to historic Lunenburg, home of the Bluenose. The LaHave Islands are in close proximity that offer kayaking to many of the inland islands for a day's picnic

-ing or overnight stays at one of the rugged campsites. Also available are historic sites depicting the early Acadian settlers and the town of Bridgewater which is 14 minutes down the road which is home to many stores, restaurants and amenities. If you do not feel like travelling by car to the beach enjoy your own private beach across the road where you can swim, sit or launch a kayak or canoe. The cottage itself is spacious and has plenty of room for at least four people. It can accommodate couples or families easily with flexibility in the sleeping accommodations. It hosts a large kitchen with additional living area - a den and a large living room. The views across the LaHave river are stunning at sunrise or just sit and watch the gulls and various seabirds dancing in the sky.

Appledore Seaside Cottage is ideally located on the LaHave near the famous LaHave Bakery and Cable Ferry. Take a ride on the ferry over to the other side of the river and then drive or cycle to Lunenburg to see the Bluenose or have a bite to eat in the many restaurants. Located within 10 minutes are Cresent and Risser's Beaches and the LaHave Islands. The Islands can be reached by road, or for the kayaking enthusiasts, from Appledore Cottage Beach. Come have a relaxing summer adventure at the Cottage!

Well, hopefully "spring has sprung" and we are heading into the summer of 2016! Appledore Seaside Cottage is rearing to go to assist vacationers to NS with the best possible setting to enjoy a relaxing and fun-filled vacation.
