Over 60 years of tradition continues this August Long Weekend!

Rodeo season is well underway and we want to kick up some dirt and make some noise for all the talented participants that represent the Region doing what they do best! 🏇 In partnership with Lac La Biche County's Sport Tourism Working Group, over the next several weeks we will be spotlighting the local talent that makes us proud. Has the rodeo passed that you hope we feature? Don't worry! All of the Region's 2026 rodeos will be lassoed into the action!

Each feature will include a contest with a prize pack full of Region and Get Your Game On Goodies, so stay tuned each week! Winners will be announced at the end of the season when the dust settles. 🤠

We want to start off by congratulating all the competitors and teams, stock companies, and volunteers who represented the rural northeast and Lac La Biche County in such an amazing and impactful way this year the Calgary Stampede.
