Since the inception of TRK Engineering in 1996, fou
nder and president, Randy Marks (a leader in providing state-of-the-art technical designs) together with his team of engineers have executed the design for more than 10,000 telecommunication installations across North America. Randy, a commercial helicopter pilot with over 3,500 flight hours, created TRK Helicopters in 2004 - providing charter and commercial operations as well as advanced specialty training for pilots in all aspects of flight operations. A unique strength of the TRK Group is our fleet of 13 helicopters that support TRK Engineering and TRK Connect by providing remote site access to Telecom sites across Canada. We also provide services to all the fire centers across Canada helping them control forest fires. When we are not flying out to remote areas to support the other TRK teams or fighting forest fires, we are working with mineral and exploration companies, film companies, the tourist industry (site-seeing and heli-skiing tours) and providing assistance to the provincial and federal government with wildlife capture and surveys. TRK Helicopters has bases in Langley BC, Whitehorse YT and Kananaskis AB. Another unique strength of TRK is our team of highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance Engineers who not only keep our own fleet in top notch condition ensuring safety, but also have the capacity to take on third party maintenance contracts working with operators in BC and Alberta. In 2014, we opened the doors to TRK Connect – our construction company being led by Bill Schulte. Bill began his career in Telecom in 1997 and he has worked on multiple projects both international and in Canada. He brings with him experience in Tower Foundations, Stacking Towers, Building Towers, Vendor Rollouts, Tower Maintenance and Repair and Site Maintenance and Repair. The TRK Group is now able to provide complete Design, Build and Remote Site Access solutions to Telecom Carriers across Canada. The combined years of experience that Randy and Bill bring together sets the TRK Group apart from all other providers.
