Dogs and cats must be on a leash or in a carrier. Cost of $25 cash per dog/cat.

Rabies vaccination for cats and dogs is mandatory in Ontario and the best way to protect pets and humans. Get your pet vaccinated for $25 (cash only) on September 16. Ditch work starting on Wednesday.

🚧 2026 Ditch Maintenance 🚧

Starting Wednesday, September 16, 2026, and over the next few weeks, the Lanark Highlands Public Works Department will be completing ditch maintenance in the following locations:

📍 8th Concession Dalhousie
📍 Waddle Creek Road
📍 Black Creek Road

This important work is part of our ongoing road maintenance program and helps:

☑️ Improve stormwater drainage
☑️ Reduce water pooling and potential flooding
☑️ Protect and support a stable, durable road surface

Residents may notice crews and equipment working along roadways during this time. We appreciate your patience and cooperation while this work is completed.

❤️ New AED Installed at the Township Office

We are pleased to share that a new Automated External Defibrillator (AED) has been installed at the front entrance of the Township Office.

Scott Reid, MP, generously donated the AED, making this important life-saving equipment more accessible in Lanark.

Thank you to MP Scott Reid for this generous donation and his support for our community's health and safety.
