There’s a big difference between booking a trip… and professionally designing one.

Travel isn’t just a side hustle to me — it’s my career, my profession, and a commitment to my clients.

Anyone can complete a weekend online training program and “sell travel” today. But working with someone who has over 25 years of experience, formal training, industry relationships, and professional accountability matters — especially when things don’t go as planned.

As a CTC Certified Travel Counsellor, I have spent years gaining industry training, destination education, supplier certifications, and ongoing professional development to ensure my clients receive expert guidance, trusted advice, and personalized service every step of the way.

✈️ Travel Update: Spirit Airlines Ceasing Operations

If you have upcoming travel booked with Spirit Airlines, you may have seen the news that they’ve ceased operations.

Here’s what you need to know 👇

✔️ Check your booking status
Flights are being cancelled—log into your reservation or check your email for updates.

✔️ Refunds & credits
Eligible passengers should receive refunds or travel credits. If you booked with a credit card, you may also have protection options.

✔️ Rebooking options
Other airlines are stepping in with limited “rescue fares,” but availability is tight—acting quickly is key.

✔️ Travel insurance matters
If you purchased insurance, check your policy for trip interruption coverage.

I haven’t been booking Spirit for customers recently due to TICO (Travel Industry Council of Ontario) recommending we not because they had filed for bankruptcy protection so there was no way of protecting passengers or their purchases if they suddenly ceased operations.

This is exactly where working with a travel advisor makes all the difference—especially when plans don’t go as planned.
