Sure, you can drive throughโ€”but you'll miss a lot of the good stuff. Park the car, wander a few blocks and see what you find tucked between the familiar spots.

๐ŸŽจ Murals & street art: Keep an eye on walls, alleyways and unexpected corners for colourful pieces scattered around downtown.

๐Ÿ›๏ธ Local shops: Pop into the independent boutiques and businesses that give downtown its personality.

โ˜• Coffee stops: Because exploring is considerably better with caffeine in hand.

๐Ÿด Local eats: Make a day of it and grab lunch, dinner or something sweet from a downtown favourite.

๐Ÿ“ธ The little details: Old signs, interesting doorways, hidden corners, brickwork and those random finds that somehow end up being your favourite photo of the day.

This September, skip the drive-through version of downtown Lethbridge. Give yourself a few hours, explore on foot and see what youโ€™ve been missing.

Have you been to the Helen Schuler Nature Centre? While the weather is still nice, we highly recommend visiting this interpretive centre before hitting the hiking trail in the river valley.

Learn about the animals youโ€™ll see, the plants youโ€™ll find, and all the best photo spotsโ€”all in one trip!

The Nature Centre is open everyday from 9:00amโ€“5:00pm!
